How listings work
Every business here is a real trading business — either added by its owner, or seeded from the public companies register before it joins.
A claimed listing is run by the business itself: its own phone number, services, photos and reviews, kept current by the owner. An unclaimed listing shows only the name, trade and town from the public register, until the owner claims it.
A rating on a profile always comes from somewhere real — the business's own collected reviews, or its Google Business Profile, linked out so you can check it yourself. We never invent a rating, and we never combine reviews collected on another site into one score of our own.

Where do the ratings and reviews come from?
Straight from the business — its own collected customer reviews, or its Google Business Profile rating, shown with a link so you can check it yourself. We never invent a rating, and we never aggregate reviews collected on another site into one score.
What does it mean if a listing is Featured?
Featured is a paid placement that puts a listing at the top of its trade and town pages with a Featured badge. It's always clearly labelled, and never changes a business's rating or reviews.
What if a listing is wrong, or I want it removed?
Every profile has a request-removal route. Contact us with the business name and what needs changing or removing and we'll action it — usually within a day.
